Create visually compelling solutions for a wide array of media including magazines, catalogs, email, social media, and presentations. Responsible for all design initiatives from concept to completion. Collaborate with clients to effectively meet project objectives, schedules, and deadlines. Create consistent designs which align to the clients visual brand, style and existing assets. Produce clean, accurate, and streamlined files.

Art Director / John Brown Media

Creative lead on Southeastern Grocers Flavor magazine. Art directed photo shoots. Provided mood boards, detailed photography briefs and clear communication to ensure brand and visual standards were met for each issue. Concepted and presented ideas for evolving design of the magazine. Assigned and managed freelance illustrators and other artists creating original content. Periodically designed special brand projects (seasonal seals/bursts, presentations, etc).

Art Director / Trusted Media Brands, Inc.

Responsible for the concept, design, and execution of Taste of Home Special Interest Publications. Collaborated with creative directors, editors, and photo studio team to develop on-brand creative solutions. Proactively managed project timelines and workload while taking full responsibility for related deliverables. Other duties included directing photo shoots, color markup, researching industry trends, translating print to digital editions, and maintaining brand consistency throughout all product lines.

Graphic Designer / MRA - The Management Association

Contributed as lead designer on marketing campaigns that included corporate identity, print and digital ads, signage, direct mail, catalogs, training material, etc., with the goal of expanding and retaining membership. Collaborated with other designers, copywriters, and editors throughout production of every project. Assisted in the selection and management of printers, photographers, freelancers, and other outside vendors.
